Our Thermal Desorption Unit employs environmental remediation technology that utilizes heat to increase the volatility of contaminants such that they can be separated from the solid matrix; typically soil, sludge or filter cake. It offers a method of separating and recovering.
We use the Porcupine Processor which ensure the following results: Consistently discharge processed drill cuttings with TPH (Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon) limits below 10000 mg/kg (1% by weight as required by legislation).
01
01
Recover the base oil without any measurable degradation allowing its reuse.
02
02
Use the volume of water recovered to re-hydrate the solids discharge, thereby reducing the waste stream.
03
03
Potentially allow the oil and solids waste streams to be treated as commodity items.
04
04
Produce a lower environmental impact compared to earlier generation indirect rotary kiln type systems.
Our Sludge Treatment Unit (STU) is designed for treating heavier slop waste such as sludge and water saturated mud. The separation technology includes an emulsion breaker injection system in combination with a decanter centrifuge with high slenderness ration. The unit is perfectly equipped to separate the solids from the water. The effluent water is suited for water treatment with the CTU.
